Danish gastronomy for the whole family

At Kjærbøllings Hus, we serve classic Danish cuisine. Here, you’ll find an abundance of traditional open-faced sandwiches, steak sandwiches, Caesar salad, and a variety of other tempting dishes for both adults and children. Whether your favorite is breaded fish fillet, chicken salad, or potatoes, your meal will be served at lightning speed.

You can dine indoors in the cozy, historic house named after ZOO’s founder, Niels Kjærbølling. When the weather allows, you can also take a seat outside and enjoy your meal with views of camels, lions, and flamingos.

Treat yourself to a slice of cake, warm up with a cup of coffee, or take a well-deserved break with a cold beer or soft drink. Meanwhile, the children can play in the “Kids’ Corner,” color, or enjoy a fish fillet with vegetable sticks or a portion of chicken nuggets—perfectly sized for small, hungry appetites.
