Summer Highlights
The new Leopard Trail is open. Watch the leopards patrol their new territory, high above the greenery.
Embark on the ZOO Mission and become one of the ZOO’s Nature Heroes. The free activity booklet is available at the entrance.
The giraffe herd has grown with two calves, and a third is on the way.
The baby elephant and the herd are outside when the weather is nice—otherwise, you can see them in the Elephant House.
The chimpanzees are enjoying the summer heat in their new outdoor enclosure. Come and see them up close.
At the Children’s Zoo, the little ones can get up close. In the Night Zoo, darkness and nocturnal animals await. And in the Australian Billabong, there’s something new to discover around every corner.
Is it raining? The ZOO has plenty of indoor experiences ready for you.
New: The Leopard Trail
Europe’s longest predator walkway, stretching 160 meters, gives the leopards more space to roam. For visitors, this means an up-close encounter with one of the world’s endangered predators. You can see the leopards in several places throughout the zoo: overhead, near the Elephant House, and all the way down by the pandas.
