Terms of business for private donations
Contract Formation and Contact Information
These terms and conditions apply to all donations made via the website zoo.dk. The Copenhagen Zoo will be the contracting party for the purchase, and our contact information is as follows:

The Zoo recommends that you read the terms and conditions carefully before entering into an agreement to purchase a donation subscription.
Fixed subscription via credit card
When you sign up for a donation subscription via zoo.dk, a personal subscription will be created for you or the selected person.
For card donations, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal by contacting zoo@zoo.dk.
The following cards are accepted
Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, MaestroCard
Payment, price, and receipt
The subscription is automatically renewed when you support the ZOO. By entering into a subscription, you authorize the ZOO to deduct the selected amount once a month. Payment must be made by the due date specified on the invoice, and payment covers the entire duration of the subscription.
Apart from the donation itself, there are no additional costs associated with entering into a fixed donation subscription.
If an email address is provided on the donation form when purchasing the subscription, the Zoo will subsequently send a receipt via email.
Cancellation
If the donor wishes to cancel their recurring donation agreement, they may do so by contacting the ZOO via email or phone. Provided that the request for cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to the payment date, the recurring donation agreement will be canceled before the next payment is due.
Purchase and Liability
If the donor has provided their Social Security number to the ZOO for tax deduction purposes in accordance with applicable regulations, the ZOO will report the total donated amount to the tax authorities. Beyond this, there is no consideration from the ZOO to the donor, nor does the donor have any obligations arising from the donation.
Processing of Personal Data and Consent for Future Contact
ZOO records the information entered in connection with the donation. The information is not shared, but ZOO retains the information for five years for accounting purposes. ZOO uses log files on the donation page. The log files are used to record the choices the user makes on the page. When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server where the information is encrypted. ZOO processes and stores personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. When you fill out and submit your information, you are also giving your consent for ZOO to contact you with other offers from ZOO. You can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us at any time by emailing us at zoo@zoo.dk.
Returns and Right of Withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal after purchasing a subscription. The right of withdrawal means you have the right to cancel the agreement without giving a reason within 14 days. The right of withdrawal begins at the time of purchase, after you have received access to your order confirmation.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement in an unambiguous statement (e.g., by mail or email). You can send an email to us at zoo@zoo.dk.
The cancellation period is met if you send your notice of exercising the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will, as a rule, refund all payments we may have received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notice of your decision to withdraw from your purchase. We will refund the money to your bank account. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees as a result of the refund.
Renewal
When you enter into a recurring gift agreement, the ZOO is authorized to contact the donor by email and phone to renew the subscription when the payment card expires or is blocked. If there are recurring payments from a card and you change or renew the card, the recurring payments will be stopped; therefore, we ask that you update your card information with the new card details.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Danish law, excluding Danish conflict of laws rules and the CISG.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the Danish courts.
