The Zoo Mission
Go on a mission, solve challenges, collect stamps and badges, and become one of the Zoo’s Nature Heroes.

Someone needs our help! The world's animals. They are endangered, partly because their natural habitats are disappearing. That’s why Copenhagen Zoo helps protect animals all over the world – and kids aged 5-12 can join The Zoo Mission.
Join The Zoo Mission, where you can explore, discover, run, and play your way through the Zoo and become a true Nature Hero who looks after the world's wildlife and nature. Along the way, you will complete cool challenges to earn stamps for your activity booklet and collect fabric badges like Zoo Friend and Zoo Explorer – all the qualities it takes to be one of the Zoo’s cool and super-important Nature Heroes.
How to become one of the Zoo's Nature Heroes
Pick up your free activity booklet with four cool challenges at the entrance.
Solve educational tasks on your own, participate in inspiring workshops, and watch exciting Zoo Stories live on stage.
Once you have completed a task, you earn a stamp in your booklet. You can get your stamps from the Zoo Guides.
When you have collected enough stamps, you can exchange them for cool fabric badges in the Zoo Shop. The fabric badge for the Zoo Friend challenge is free. The remaining badges cost DKK 5 each.
Iron the fabric badges onto your clothes and show the world that you are one of the Zoo’s important Nature Heroes.
