PLAY AND LEARN IN THE AUSTRALIAN OASIS

In Mary’s Australian Garden, you step into a world of Australian animals. The laughing kookaburras love to sing, and the yellow-footed rock wallabies are often hopping about. You can experience them and all the other animals up close as you make your way through the park, beneath the kangaroo cliff and on along the stream.

On your way through the aviary, you can also encounter a wide variety of birds, including the red-tailed black cockatoo and the endangered swallow-tailed parakeet. Take a leisurely break along the way with a view of the Australian oasis, or see if you can spot the wombats in their burrows.

You can also test your skills against the Australian animals in various activities. Have a go at the ‘Who Eats What?’ quiz and see if you can hop as far as a kangaroo or keep your balance like a parrot.

Extend the experience and continue your journey past the Tasmanian devils and grey giant kangaroos – they live right next door!
